The Bat and the Bug

it's midnight now
and feeding time, too
a small bat searched
for bugs as he flew

he couldn't find any
and he didn't like that
which could be expected
from a hungry little bat

then he saw one
"Oh happy night!"
the little bat was proud
of his successful hunting flight

Cows

I think cows lead boring lives
they just graze and leave cow pies
if they aren't doing one of those two
they are probably giving milk for you
so when I sit and think right now
boy, I'm glad I'm not a cow

Earthworm

The life of an earthworm
is unknown to me
I know they live in the ground
they don't live in trees

Other than that
there's not much to say
except after a rain
they're all over the driveway
