1 In every place or part. 2 In many places; of common occurrence.
I'm everywhere.
You can't escape me.
I'm in your ear,
whispering threats of humiliation and dread,
and I know you're wondering
how you're going to deal with it,
when it happens.
I'm at your wrists,
gripping them together,
running a zipper up your arms
all the way to your elbows,
until your shoulders feel like they'll burst.
I'm in your face,
blocking everything out
so that all you can breathe
is me
and I am not going to sustain you.
I'm at your mouth,
making you answer me,
moving your lips and tongue
the way that I want
in the places that I want.
I'm in your heart,
pulsing it against your beat,
racing it,
and you feel like you're going to drop
from the heat.
I'm everywhere,
you can't get away.
