"The House stood on a hill.

Its bright red door could be seen from miles away.

Nobody evercame or went, so we decided that nobody lived there."

.... A group of children and a large black poodle take a chance and enter this bright red door, spending a day in playful exploration. Wander with them through the curious rooms of an eccentric Victorian house and discover its mysteries and treasures.

They make their way across a quiet stream, gambol through a meadow blossoming with butterflies, and hike up over hills to a view of the valley below.
