my legs look like porcupines! hahaha!

I'm destined to die in Point Loma. Okay all right, I don't know if that's strictly true, strictly speaking, but I do know that no matter what I do I can't seem to escape the dang place. It's looking pretty good for us girls getting the latest apt. there... we've put money down to hold it and the whole nine. And I'm over it, I said ok. It's a nice place, with a spa and a pool(minus Creepy Bob leering at the bikini-clad sunbathers, hurrah!) and a gym and stuff, and hey, I only have to live there for the summer anyway. Its all good. Plus have friends from work right around the corner. Hurrah! Plus the friends in the apt. itself. Hurrah!

My world is about to get rocked by an 80-something year old man. Haha. How is this, you ask? Well, I simply can't wait to go see Billy Graham on Saturday. Seriously. I am so excited. He's the only mass evangelist type guy that I just have loads of respect for, and I can't wait to be inspired. Post-meeting update to follow. Not to mention (!) I will get to enjoy the music of DC Talk. YES! Haha. Bring on the junior high memories yo. Love is a... love is a... love is a verb! Cmon... UH! Heyyyy.... tell me haven't you hearrrrd...

Speaking of faith and the odd and wonderful journey it takes you on, I'm real excited about the stuff I'll have the opportunity to experience while in Portland. So when I get this whole undergrad thing out of the way (read: get over my current terror of all things PLNU enough to at least drive onto campus and go talk to them about how the heck I'm going to finish this last class, whether that's here or at PSU) I can carry out the second half of my plan, which is to take the year graduate certificate course for theology at Multnomah Bible College in Portland. I know I know, more school... what the oooo am i thinking?! But... I need a heck of a better theological base for the book I'm working on and I figure that's a great way to do it. Plus if I decide later to go on and get my MDiv (who knows where I'll go? I dunno. It's great not knowing.), I'll already have the first year out of the way. I'm way excited. It helps thinking about these things because then I don't think about the fact that I'm giving up the sun to move there. Who am I kidding? I'm gonna DIE! Six years in SoCal man... I'm such a weather wimp. It's a cinch that no one up there complains when it drops to 60 degrees!

i own a rabbit. Jessa's leaving and doesn't want to deal with taking Benny with her, so I am now the lucky winner of him. Neat.

Haha. Leanna, Sean and I went and saw my recently-jettisoned work friend in her comedy showcase debut in La Jolla a couple nights ago. She was great! She was like one of the funniest ones there, and that was out of at least 15 comedians. Not sure if the audience got all the Starbucks jokes, but we laughed our heads off. Good times. Until the power went out, yaaaaaah! Then it was good times we couldn't see.

X-tremely lame. I haven't seen X-men yet? What? Yeah i know. Hence the title of this paragraph. At least I got a hot date out of it. Haha. Never underestimate the power of uttering "Oh man, I really want to see that, but I think all my friends have gone already" with a cute boy in earshot. Sweet! Loved the first movie, saw it like 3x in the theaters. Of course, I'm also the only person I know who laughs when that commerical comes on with the guy who's pretending to be Wolverine is playing volleyball on the beach and all his friends get mad at him because he pops the ball with his fake claws. Hahahaha! It's funny! Cmon. Ok.

CONCERT UPDATE:

`No Knife/Appleseed Cast recap. Another great night at the Scene with Toddy, Jeff B. and I enjoying the musical stylings of melodic-rock act Appleseed Cast and the fabulous No Knife. Ahhh yes I love them. Did I mention I love them? You know how I love them.

```Cool band of the week: No Knife. Again. I have fallen in love. They're great. Mad musical attraction with passionately hot heat!
Five Notables Since Last Time:
1. Most Silly Starstruck Moment: Saying hi to Mitch Wilson from No Knife and having him smile and say hi back :D
2. Most Fun Girl Bonding Moment: hilarious "23 year old shared anxiety about post-college life" conversation with Jessa and Lisa
3. Sickest Moment: Leanna and I spotting a pube in the maple oat nut scone package at work (someone upset about us sending back the broken blueberry scone from the day before perhaps? "I'll give 'em something to cry about!" Hahahaha
4. Warm Fuzzy Moment: AWESOME family talk with Dad while in Sac.
5. Moment that Made Me Realize I Need to Get the Heck Going With My Impending Musical Stardom: Running into old acquaintance Jen from H.S. and watching her perform her stuff at Artwalk
What's in my CD player this week? (like you care) Blind Melon- "Soup", Santana- "Best of Santana", No Knife- "Drunk On the Moon", No Knife- "Riot for Romance", Via Satellite- "Traffico!", Caedmon's Call- "Long Line of Leavers"
