i smell of christmas blend.

It's Monday.

And I'm moving...again. Whoa there buckaroo! Not homes, thank the Lord. I'm moving works though. Transferring stores, to be exact. This past Monday I walk into work and Leanna's like, "So you're transferring to Hillcrest huh?" As I'm sitting there trying to figure out what the samhill is going on, Dan walks over with his best large embarrassed "shutup Leanna" smile and goes, "Actually, I haven't gotten a chance to ask her about that yet." As it turned out though, everything was fine with me because the Hillcrest store will give me many more hours than the amount I am working at the PB store. More hours is good because that means I get to eat something other than PBJ and Top Ramen next month. Yippee! I covered my first shift at the new store on Saturday night and it was slooooooooow. That will be something to get used to, but my new manager is great. Kate. Great Kate. She's a redhead. And a real person, a nice thing to see in a manager. :)

Five Reasons I Like Christmas This Year:
1. I get to see my mom.
2. I can actually enjoy the "countdown to Christmas" ...instead of enjoying the "countdown to massive stress overload" (aka finals week).
3. My first-ever Christmas in San Diego. "oh the weather outside is...delightful." Hmmm...
4. SWEET! It's the return of Lord of the SWEET! (see paragraph below)
5. Icicle lights.

Lord of the SWEET! So I finally saw THE movie yesterday. Including 20 minutes of previews, pre-previews, and preshow countdowns, I would say the movie topped out at about 14 hours and 31 minutes. Roughly. It was GREAT. The battle scene at Helm's Deep was ragin'. Quick fact: Did you know that Orlando Bloom (who plays blonde-haired, blue-eyed, elf-eared Legolas) actually has brown hair and brown eyes in real life? Did you also happen to notice whether the ring finger on his left hand is lookin' a little nakey-nakey? Could...could you find out?
