happy and bored and slightly wiggly.

BARCELONA. It's all I can think about. It's the reason for the wiggl in my wiggly. I decided I'm going this summer. I decided that I can sit around and whine and pine and...dine? what? over going to Europe all I want, or I can get off my (much smaller these days) butt and make some money and just go. I've never really had any particular interest in going to Spain to be honest, but that was sort of the point, to go somewhere I never had thought of going before. Somehow Barcelona got in my head and now it won't leave. Oh, if ever wallowing could be used as a positive adjective, tis now, tis now! We have made plans to visit the enchanting province of Provence, France as well. I can't wait to explore someplace totally new and different. I don't know a large amount about either area and that's the beauty of it I think- to just plunge into a brand-new place and be overwhelmed with wonder. Fear, of course, is a necessary ingredient in wonder. Plungey plungey! J'adorerai sucer les petits escargots mignons hors de leurs coquilles tandis que je me trouve sur les plages sablonneuses de la Riviera soleil-trempée. Bon voyage mes chers! Et bon appetit! (My French is still pretty good but my Spanish blows.)

Some of the things I am doing in order to go to Europe are as follows: running errands for a sweet little 94-year-old lady. getting a roommate- one that will actually live in my room for the next few months. continue working in the lab. continue working insanely early morning shifts at starbucks. soil myself. updates will appear in future volumes.
When is the @%$& Harry Potter 5 coming out? Does anyone know? %$&#! I am constipated with waiting!

Five Things I Will Do Before January 2004:
1. Travel to Europe.
2. Clean out my car.
3. See "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"
4. Camp naked.
5. Get a real job. No! Who put that there? That's not on my list. Ummm...make a CD of my music stuff and SELL IT to someone.

Sometimes, I miss my old life. Sitting around with no real job to speak of, hanging out, not worrying about money ever. But mostly I'm glad it's over. Time off seems like time off now. I'm thinking...pizza and ritas with the girls tonight. :)
