'Feather Weight' I have always thought about painting this vase but couldn't think what to put in it because it is so small, (only 3"s tall), and I couldn't think of a flower that would do it justice. I decided to paint it with a peacock feather that I found on a visit to a small animal farm with the kids some years ago. I used just 4 colors. Beaux Arts Burnt Sienna, Grumbacher Thalo Blue, Rembrandt Lemon Yellow, and Grumbacher Titanium White. Feather Weight is oil on panel.
