Phebe Davidson
holds the G.L. Toole Chair in English at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where she manages the Palanquin Poetry Press. Her work has appeared in journals including Kenyon Review, College English, The Literary Review, and Poetry East. She is the author of five books of poems, most recently Dreameater (Delaware Valley,1998).
Alan Elyshevitz's
poems have appeared in Alligator Juniper, Half Tones, To Jubilee and The Baltimore Review. His poetry chapbook, The Splinter in Passion's Paw, was published by New Spirit Press. He is currently working toward an MFA in writing from Bennington College.
Alice B. Fogel's
two books are Elemental(1993)and I Love This Dark World(1996),both from Zoland Books. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Ploughshares,Washington Post("Poet's Choice"), Third Coast, Chelsea, and Best American Poetry 1993. She recently received an NEA fellowship.
James Healy
is a photographer and a father. He attended Columbia University where he studied with Edward Said, Wallace Grey, and Kenneth Koch.
Mary Beth Kosich
has worked as a journalist for the Philadelphia Magazine, the Princeton Packet and the Asian Cultural Arts Society of Bridgewater,New Jersey. Presently, she is a massage therapist. She recently completed a book length manuscript of poetry. Her main influences are Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton and Charles Baudelaire.
R.S. Nelson's
work has appeared in Montage and Appearances. His influences include Lawrence Ferlinghetti, William Carlos Williams, and Sylvia Plath.
Mary McLaughlin Slechta
is a poet and fiction writer. Her work has appeared in many journals and anthologies, including New To North America(1997) and Identify Lessons: Learning American Style(1998).
Anne Spollen
holds an MA in English literature. Her work has been published in Amelia, Interim, The Green Hills Literary Lantern, Paragraph, Reed, The Brownstone Review, Pandora,and Calyx, amongst others. She has been nominated for a Pushcart in fiction.
