San Gabriel High School 1980

Got to work with an old and dear friend who was the head coach there. I was the offensive coordinator and coached the Quarterbacks and Defensive Backs. Our second year there we were the number one passing team in the CIF

Started at Schurr in 1972 as assistant sophmore coach while I was still going to college. We were 7-1 and league champs. Next year I moved up to the Varsity and coached the DB's and receivers. From 1976 to 79 we were league champs and for two years straight we did not give up a point in league. Left to go coach with Bill at San Gabriel then came back as defensive coordinator. From then until 1989 we were league champs almost every year and offense and defense was one of the best in CIF
