The History of the Hereditary Order of Light Dwarven Paladins

The Order of Light was formed in a time of darkness and dire need.  A rag tag band of villanious scoundrels had banded together to spread their henious morality among the masses.  They coalesced under the banner of The Eternal Order of Dark Elven Swashbucklers.  They began expanding rapidly as their trecherous lies fell sickly sweet on innocent ears.  Peseant, pauper, noble, and clergy, all were consumed in an orgy of peer pressure.  So easy was their conquest of the kingdom that they were becoming bored.  And they desired a worthy foe against which to struggle.  So was born The Hereditary Order of Light Dwarven Paladins.  Perfect opposites in every way, we were the ultimate adversary.  Now it is a eternal struggle as The Orders clash, meeting again and again on every battlefield.  Praise be to the Goddess, and may Light and Purity prevail!

Now follows the Tennants of The Hereditary Order of Light Dwarven Paladins:

               1) One may become a member of The Order of Light only by showing the
               qualities of a member of The Order of Light, and being indoctrinated by
               someone outside The Order of Light.

               2) We must live by the Laws of the Universe:
                       a) Object's emotion tend to stay emotion.
                       b) Energy may be re-served in a closed cistern.

               3) True Love exists and it is the quest of all the members of the Order of
               Light to seek it out and embrace it.  Though it is only so that we should
               admire it from afar.

               4) Destroy those who falsely claim to have True Love, they know nothing of
               its divine brillance.

               5) Denounce blatant carnal deeds and all that brings them about.  Keep thy
               tounge as pure as the ivory church of our Goddess.

               6) Should any member of The Order of Light construe the nature of their
               True Love to be worth denouncing the glory of The Order of Light, they are
               sent solemnly on with their Love.
 

Naming within The Order of Light is done through the tale.  Unlike the hierarchial structure of The Dark Elves, all among The Order of Light are equal.  Therefore we do not take titles, rather each member is renamed upon their indoctrination.  This name is taken from the tales woven and related by that new member.  When new members are welcomed, they must tell us of the name that they are from then on to be know by when dealing with the activies of the Order Candour does however require that we all must address each other with the titles 'Sir' and 'Lady'.
