Hi I am a 31yr old female that was diagnosed in April of 1999 that I have Hep C. I am having a really hard time with it. I was on the combination theropy of interferon and Rebetol for 6 months and it put it in remossion. I am having a tough time with the ide effects still today. They do not have a clue where I got it. All they can tell me is that I just came down with it. I'm looking for some answers to the side effects. I have been very sick for the last year and am having major headaches today. The doct rs tell me that the nerves in my neck and head are causing all the pain from being so sick and are sending me to physcial theropy now to see if that will work. I don't know what to think any more. I have been to so many doctors and they all tell me someth ng different. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

I came across your site as one of my best friends is moving to minn. today. I'm happy for her because her family is there - its where she grew up - also her husband won't have to travel any longer and his parents also live there - but she was such a goo friend and I am quite disabled and pretty much a shut in and she was one that always checked with me and I just felt so sad. I loved your learned section = actually I loved most everything on you net that I went through, I will return and hopefully mets me of you nice people. Have a great week and I'll be in touch. I just finished my combo treatment;I was only on it for 4 months. My docs pulled me off coz the sides were brutal. But there is good news! I cleared the virus;the PCR shows nothing there. Now I'll wait 6 months to see if this holds up. People out there,it s possible to make it thru treatment. Hang in there!
