God's Helpers

Do you believe in angels? I know I sure do,
They come to watch over and warn me and you.
They may not wear their halos and wings,
But, they sure do help us out with lots of things!
They come from the great heavens above,
To fill us with joy, hope happiness and love!
They come to guide us in all the right ways,
And to watch over us all of our days.
They may even decide not to appear,
But we have a feeling that they are near.
When there time here on earth is done,
They go back to where they have came from.
Even though they leave this old earth,
Please, try to remember what it was worth;
For God to send his angels to help us out,
That is one thing that God is all about.
Friends

Who makes you smile and feel happy inside?
Who is always there with their arms opened wide?
Who is there willing to lend you a hand in need?
Now that is a true friend indeed.
Who is there to help you with your long day's work?
Who is the one that's not the one to lurk?
Who is there with you from beginning to end?
That is what I call a real true friend.
Who is there when you feel down and alone?
Who is there to come visit your home?
Who is there when you need someone to talk to?
That is a friend who cares about you.
Who is the one who listens to what you say?
Who is the one who you see every day?
So if you think you have no one there,
Your best friend will always care.
What Are Heroes?

What are heroes, that's the question I'm asking you!
Maybe the answer is something that we never knew.
But this poem may tell you what a real hero is and what they accomplish in this world,
Who knows -- you may be a hero to a man, woman, boy, or a girl!
There are all kind of heroes, they can be big, little, short, or tall But the size of them are not the most important thing at all!
It's the actions they do to try and help people like you and me,
And how they lend us a helping hand when we're in need!
Real heroes do not have special powers - or maybe, perhaps they have!
They have the power to cheer us up or make us laugh;
And even to make us happy and joyful that causes us to smile.
Heroes are all around, making all kinds of people happy and joyful,
When they do something really great and really wonderful;
To make us appreciate them more and more each and every day,
And now that you know what a hero is, try to be one in your own little way!
