Derek Sanderson Jeter Tribute Page

I first noticed Derek Jeter (DJ, :-D) back when he came up to the big leagues for the first time in 1995 - even before his rookie year. And I honestly noticed his talent before his good looks - but not much before;) I remember writing him in for the All-Star team in 1995 and getting rather annoyed when he finally came up to stay in 1996 when everyone was talking about how he wouldn't last and he wasn't ready. Thankfully, that's all over and everyone now knows how fabulous he is:) Go Yankees!!!

"He'd been summoned by the baseball gods; to carry the torch, to help save the team and the stadium and maybe even the game of baseball itself."
