Lemon-Lime Gatorade
My personal fave. Delicious, refreshing, and the only beverage in the world (including water) that I can guzzle.

Orange Gatorade
I was skeptical at first, because nothing orange-flavored could ever top the orange CapriSuns I had at summer camp as a tot. But this was pretty good. A nice break from the lemon-lime when you've had way too much.

Lemon Ice Gatorade
I never would have bought this, because it's clear, and ever since that Clear Pepsi fiasco I don't trust clear products. But I was desperate, I have a cold, and it was this or the blue stuff, which is a whole other conversation completely. It tasted like flat Sprite. Which tastes just like sugar water. Yuck. But I guzzled it anyway. At least there weren't gelatin dots floating in it.

Fruit Punch Gatorade
I remember the first time I tried fruit punch soda. It was Fruit Punch Crush (like Orange Crush, only fruit punchy). I was at a soda machine and there were the usual selection of Cokes and Sprites and they had this. And I was a little bored and I was about ten so I tried it. After that I was hooked and I had to have one every day for months. About two years ago I got hooked on Fruit Punch Snapple. I drank one every day and found it went really well with a nice, dry peanut butter sandwich.

So as you can see, I've had an enjoyable history with the fruit punch variety of life. Thus, I was semi-eager, although mostly just curious, to try Gatorade's rendition. I've been fighting some sort of flu thing for a couple of weeks and thought Gatorade was something that would be reasonably harmless to my upset stomach. Tired of the Lemon- Lime flavor, I decided finally to go for it.

I cracked the cap off the bottle and sniffed it, much like a fine wine. It smelled like Gatorade. Gatorade smells like salt/sugar water to me. I gave it a sip. Wellll... it tasted kind of like watered-down fruit punch. Not so good. I drank the entire bottle because I needed the liquid, but I never savored it the way I do the lemon-lime flavor. Oh, well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Plus I got a review out of it.
