Here are my renditions of the Mayan Calendar Day Signs. I felt very much compelled to create them and they flowed very intutively from my hands. I created the designs on my computer and then printed them out on paper. Next I used decoupage glue and applied a used and washed cothes dryer sheet to the paper and let it dry. Now I had a canvas that was quite different looking and I color in the design that was now clearly visible throught the dryer sheet. Click on the black and white image to see the color version. |
