- When I separated from my wife and finally got around to trying
to date, I advertised on match.com and the age range I went
after was 37 to 58, a range of 21 years, symmetrically arrayed
around my own age at that time. The lady I ended up going out
with was 52, 21 years less than 37 backwards.
- I went to Lincoln City, Oregon, to stay by the beach for a day
and look for agates. Cousin Vonda recommended a hotel named
West-something around 32nd Ave South. On that sliver of info,
nosed around and found the Westshore
Oceanfront Motel, which was absolutely perfect and reasonably
priced, and turned out to be exactly the hotel she was thinking of,
at 3127 SW Anchor Ave. I saw the number and thought,
hey, that's almost 2137 with a little scrambling. Then, once
in the room, perusing the hotel services book, noticed they listed
themselves erroneously as 2137 SW Anchor.
- Our old phone number ended in 6161.
After we moved away, we used 6161 as a
PIN for various things. And then we split up and I had to get a new
PIN. Anyway 61 times 61 is 3721, or 2137 turned inside out.

- I just like the number.
Do we feel integrally serious yet?
