DAVE

Dave Rowntree was born in May 8, 1964, in Colchester.

GROWING UP:His father was a sound engineer and helped with some of the Beatles tracks. At an early age he was forced to play the bagpipes. At 13 he could play Yellow Submarine an one drum and a cymbal. His first drum kit was the schools, but no one used it so he took it as his own.

When Dave was older he went to France to play with his band.After a time in France,he went back to Colchester to work as a computer programmer. Dave knew Graham Coxon from the band scene in Colchester where they played together in The Curious Band,and Graham's father had been giving Dave jazz lessons. He went to see Damon play at the Arts centre and said to him "If you ever need a drummer give me a ring". Eventually he joined the band.

Dave is now living together with his wife and his cats.And in his spare time he likes to listen to Prodigy,and fly around in his plane.
