RainSpirit

The air is growing cooler and as the clouds begin to approach, petals turn their heads to the warmth of the soil slowly hiding the colours of their brilliant smiles within. Birds and bugs ride their trails homeward as the fish run deep into the calm. A sound in the distance, of a deer walking upon crackling twigs can be heard as lichens and ferns softly roll their fingers together protecting their feet.

Sitting on a rock looking skyward first one drop then another rain down upon my face. With a smile and tongue extended I taste a taste of the heavens.... wetness seeping along my forehand, running smoothly backward.... trailing down my neck, moistening hair dangling in the winds. Arms to the side and legs wide apart.... oh yes... rain down on me.

Let me feel the life you bring to this magificent place... Tell me of the distance you travelled... of the glorious sky's you rode and the words of the rainbows you carry in your heart through the long day's and nights. Yes oh yes.... rain down on me. Allow me to savour each drop in delight, capture your essence and whisper joyfully to the spirits awaiting hungry inside.
