     Pull
   By Candice D.

I'm standing here
Holding out my hand
The door is open
But it You slam
I still don't know
If you see the welcome
And I'm here
Offering and feeling dumb.
THe water drips
but never ends
The thread is pulled
But it never mends
And my hand still waits
Held out in the air
but my mind doubts
If you're even aware
That my heart hopes
to give you all this love
But my hands don't feel
What the heart's thinking of.
They're waiting. Just waiting.
For your hands' embrace.
My eyes are waiting
just to see your face.
My mind thinks it's
going to be a while.
My heart doesn't care.
All it needs is your smile.
