Welcome to my web page
I have been quilting since January
1990 when I made a baby quilt in preparation for the birth
of my third son.  Little did my husband know where this one simple
      quilt would lead.  ;-)
      In 1996 I received a NWT Arts
Council grant, which allowed me to explore design work and fabric dyeing.  The four hand-dyed Arts Council quilts joined 6 more quilts
in a solo show in Yellowknife in 1998.
One of the Arts Council quilts, “Northern Lights II” was
donated to the Yellowknife Baker Senior Centre, and now graces the entry
      hall.
      For awhile my old sewing
machine, which had served me so well for so long, was becoming more
difficult to work with.  I finally worked enough to purchase a new
Quilter's Edition Bernina and since then I have been able to create a number of new
quilts.  Recently I have begun a series of quilts called "She's
Coming Undone".  I have several more on the drawing board and
will begin to work on the fourth in the series in September 2001.
      I hope that you enjoy
seeing the progression in my art quilts.   There are more to
come in the next 4 weeks.
