STREET SLANG(VI)

     (I don't believe in censorship. Some of these terms are offensive but this is actual language used on the streets, invented day by day. I don't condone the use of this language but explore its social peculiarity and conventions--Ed.)

     Gorilla milk:

          The sperm of a male afro-american penis.

          Syn: JIZZ

     Got the hookup:

          To be in the state of having received goods or being in connection with the desired items.

          Syn: WITH IT.

          Example: Pimp 1: You gots da stuff? Pimp 2: Yeh, i gots da hookup.

     Grill:

          1. face, 2.ones personal space. Syn: MUG.

          Example: He be gettin' all up in my grill.

     Gub'ment cheese:

          "Government cheese," a handout from 'the man', welfare payments, etc.

          Syn: HANDOUT

          Example: My food stamps just come in, I'm gon' go get hooked up with some gub'ment cheese.

     "I feel ya":

          same as "Yes, I understand what you are saying."

          Syn: YUP YUP.

          Example: Ay yo, man, I feel ya.
