Our continuing hope is that anyone feels welcome to contribute to this web site. Writers may use their talents to write about any topic that they wish as long as they understand that the work they are submitting is of their own creation. By submitting an article to this site, an author is stating that the article is of his/her own creation and not plagiarized from another writer. The responsibility of this fact lies with the author, not the web site.
The Writers' Voice will publish articles that have appeared elsewhere as long as the author assures us that the author has all rights to the story. A story published on this web site may be published elsewhere.
Geocities Web Page Guidelines eliminate pornography or inappropriate language from being published. Already there is too much filth out there. This forum will emphasize creative writing, essays on contemporary thought, and imaginative ideas- not the "shock jock" immorality that exists today in contemporary literature. If a writer's idea of creativity is an article laced with profanity and pornographic descriptions, then the writer should look for another place for publication. We want this site to be a site that has hard-hitting, true to life articles, but we don't want filth printed just for filth's sake.
