Confusion Reigns Supreme

Confusion reigns supreme, one dare not even dream,

Even using all one’s guile and intuition, nothing will come to fruition,

All that can be done is sit and hope, in the mean time just try to cope,

Life is a circle going round, somewhere all answers can be found,

They cant be stolen or bought, often a lot closer than originally thought,

But we look to deep into a situation, and it generally adds a complication,

Simplicity is usually the best, however, we continue to wrestle with the rest,

Life has its ups and downs, we walk around with smiles and frowns,

One day happy the next day sad, one moment good the next bad,

It is said that life is a stage, then why do we play parts full of rage,

If we must play a part, why not one of giving love from the heart,

Beyond our walls there are people to meet, they can be seen on any street,

Taking the time to communicate, you find most are scared or full of hate,

With their happiness they pretend, as it is their inner feelings they defend,

Not wishing to suffer anymore pain, they resist opening up again,

Be it either having loved and lost, or a more material cost,

People have erected a barrier, a shield, they keep it with them, even alone in a field,

To yourself you must be true, beyond that it is hard to know what to do,

Without a doubt, we must find the compassion to help another in need out,

When do we help and when do we hide, how do we know in who to confide,

As we are all so confused these questions will stay, as we do the same thing day after day,

Confusion reigns supreme, one dare not even dream.
