Never Have To Ask Why

Relationships come, relationships go, sometimes the feelings never show,

Some of us never know why, some just give up and never again try,

Men and women are different I found, but still we do have common ground,

When a man has a problem he withdraws into his cave, a time to think, solitude he does crave,

It does not mean he does not love, nor is it spite, he doesn’t want help, he needs to work it out himself, do it right,

A woman is different, she wants to talk, explain all her dealings, but don’t offer her solutions, listen to what she has to say, understand and validate her feelings,

We must be totally honest and open at all times, then no-one can cause problems no matter how menial our sins and crimes,

Caring and compassion are two more facets, they are so important I actually rate them as assets,

Two things normally missing, that are really a must, they are two simple things, understanding and trust,

Faith in each other and ourselves is what we need, to fertilize that relationship seed,

Take time out to sit down and talk, communicate, it’s amazing the problems that can be solved, hopes and dreams we can relate,

Keep our independence but be as one, I know this really can be done,

We must remember men and women are different in many ways, if we live with this in mind, love can last many stormy days,

Another important point to keep us together after we connect, is we must treat each other with unquestionable respect,

This formula in my next relationship I will try, and hopefully never again will I ever have to ask why.
