One Chance

Your in a relationship, of this there is no doubt,

All I ask is a chance, if it doesn’t work out,

It’s obvious that its you, I love and adore,

Please think of me, I implore,

I realise you have not had a clear head,

And hope you remember all that I said,

The short time we had together flew,

There was no time to show you all that I wanted to,

I wish to show total respect,

    No less should you accept,

As you know I am gentle and tender,

When required I can also be your defender,

You know I an gentle and sensitive,

I wish you weren’t so apprehensive,

My promise is to be honest and true,

    Forever faithful to only you,

I will do my best to cater to your every need,

This is my life long creed,

You have a life to live, a childhood to find,

My trust for you will be undefined,

If you want to talk, relax or have your own space,

Everything can be done at your own pace,

Just to wash and run a brush through your hair,

Appreciate and tend to your every care,

Things can be gentle or rough, rough, rough,

We can do either, it’s not so tough,

Bite the neck, massage or kiss your back,

A quiet walk up a bush track,

I will try to cover every avenue,

To be the best, I can possibly be for you,

Our lives I believe we can enhance,

Give me just one not two or three, just one chance.
