Three shot dead near Indonesia's presidential palace
Three people have been shot dead outside a money changer's shop in Jakarta, not far
from Indonesia's presidential palace.
A police chief told Reuters news agency the attack - 400 metres from the palace -
was a suspected robbery attempt.
Four men on two motorbikes are said to have killed a security guard, a parking
attendant and a driver in a street at the back of the palace, which is a hive of small
traders and government offices.
Officials say president Megawati Sukarnoputri was at the well-guarded palace when
the incident took place but has made no changes to her security or schedule.
