Aceh detainees face more questioning
Indonesian police say a former Australian university lecturer will be flown to Aceh's
provincial capital Banda Aceh for intensive investigation.
Lesley McCulloch, a British national who recently taught at Australia's Tasmania
University, was detained by Indonesian police last week along with an American
woman, Joy Sadler and their translator, a university student from Aceh.
Police allege Ms McCulloch and Ms Sadler have carried out activities incompatible
with their tourist visas and were found with photos of victims of violence and notes
documenting the Free Aceh Movement.
The United States and British embassies in Indonesia have been unable to contact
two women.
