INDONESIA: New police chief in Bali bomb investigation
Australia's foreign minister Alexander Downer has upgraded a travel warning to
Australians in Indonesia to leave, in the light of new information concerning threats to
westerners. Prime Minister John Howard is in Bali, attending a special memorial
service for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Kuta, which killed at least 180 people.
Meanwhile, Jakarta has assigned a senior police general, Made Mangku Pastika to
lead investigations into the blasts.
