We are in the village last seen at the end of Issue 6. Arwyn and Neven are present.

Big panel. Arwyn is kneeling over the small hole in the ground she dug and placed her wedding ring in. Neven stands behind her. Above them the red sigil is very intense in the darkened sky.
DIALOGUE BOX 1 (Arwyn): When my journey began I buried my wedding ring here, and left that part of my life behind.
DIALOGUE BOX 2 (Arwyn): I promised one day I would return for it.

DIALOGUE BOX 3 (Arwyn): Darian...
DIALOGUE BOX 4 (Arwyn): I need your strength.

Arwyn collapses on the ground in tears.

Full page splash. Mordath stands at the top of the tower of his castle. Behind him the fire creating the sigil blasts into the heavens. Bohr and Khiva stand about a yard behind him, closer to the fire.
DIALOGUE BOX 1 (Mordath): Well....
DIALOGUE BOX 2 (Mordath): This could be better.

Double page spread. The biggest, most epic shot ever in Sojourn. We are about half a mile away from Mordath's castle and we see the entire army of trools taking on the fifty dragons attacking from the air. Four dragons are already on the ground, dead. Entire sections of the castle are demolished and ablaze, as well as several places on the ground. Two dragons, though still airbourne, are being tethered to the ground by ropes the trolls are throwing. The dragons are doing major damage.

We are above the castle as the dragons attack. Gareth's dragon and Cassidy's dragon pass one another.
PANEL 1
Gareth's dragon flies up alongside Cassidy's dragon. He has an enormous grin on his face.
DIALOGUE BOX 1 (Cassidy): I can't believe it! We are actully winning!
PANEL 2
Gareth's dragon swoops down, blowing fire as it dives.
DIALOGUE BOX 2 (Gareth): YA HOOOO!!!!
