The Fire Forge is a secret place where you can change your Soul reaver into a Fire reaver.(See about Soul Reaver, HERE)
It appears as a little fire, all you got to do is pass the reaver over it (Action button)
From then onwards in the game you can change the soul reaver into the Fire Feaver just by passing it over any flame.
The Fire reaver burns a vampire to death (When you deal the final blow) as aposed to exploding them like the Soul reaver does.
