There are quite a lot of puzzles to solve and some can be very.......intricate,
I will try my best to explain.
Moving big square blocks:
(in general)
The first and probably most common is moving big square blocks, the
best thing to do is look around for any
high up and hard to reach ledges. Or if you got to move them into big
murals, then listen for a click sound to tell you it's in the right place,
this is best done by pausing the game and turning the music down all the
way.
Melciah's territory puzzles:
Continue and you should be on an open ledge overlooking a lake. Push
a big block off the ledge, jump or fall down
grab the block and drag it to the right into the third gap in the wall,
grab a second block, it should be there somewhere, and stack it on the
other block, jump on the both of them, jump up and go through the passageway.
A big room with a lever and a switch above a metal grate on the
far end:
Go and flick the switch and ride the lift, in the corridor go either
left or right.
Continue until you enter a big room with three horizontal cogs.
Three horizontal cogs, a switch and a crank:
Flick the switch in one end of the room, then turn the crank on the
other end to start the cogs. Now head back to the first big room and pull
the switch to lower the floor.
Jump down to the lowered floor and find a block in the wall, pull it
out to one space (this is so you can gat back out later) now find
a passage hole, run into it and keep going until you emerge under the lowered
platform.
Move the four bonfire containers so they are under the four wooden
support beams, after the platform has fallen again move the four bonfire
containers so they are on the four corners of the big platform, a click
sound should tell you they are in the right place. The platform should
fall again, now continue down the dark passage to Melciah.
Dumah's puzzles:
Dumah's castle room with two big pools:
WARNING:
This is the hardest puzzle in the game!
Find a ledge with a crank on it, turn the crank and watch the water
drain away, fight and kill the two resurrected vampires. Facing away from
the crank jump or fall into the left room, make a stack like a stairway:
Block
Block Block
Now go to the other tub and make a vertical stack of two blocks from the blocks in the second tub and drag them so it is right next to the inlet thing. Go back to the left tub and stand on the single block facing the double vertical block stack, crouch and lift the top block to the inlet, drag it so it is on top of the double stack so now you got a triple stack of vertical blocks, drag it towards the far ledge and you should be able to jump from the crank ledge-to the triple block stack-to the far ledge. If the blocks are too far away move them closer.
Continue onwards and drop down into the next room, go to the little
wheel on one side of this room to activate the gas, now got to the other
side of this room and pull the lever to activate the furnace.
If you are lucky you should have trapped a Dumahim vampire in the furnace
and fried him to a crisp
(Mwahahahahahaha!)
How to get up to the lever in Dumah's castle's drawbridge room:
First you should be in the real realm, jump and glide to the ledge
on your left, side step and jump and glide to the ledge on your left again,
above the drawbridge, then to the platform under the lever, jump and climb
up to the platform with the lever, jump to that side stepping portal, use
it, jump back to the lever's ledge and pull it.
Once open the drawbridge should open a new path, take it and take the right at the next intersection. Extract a block from the wall and jump and climb to a room above you, kill a couple of vampires and jump from pillar to pillar, on each pillar side step. On the forth pillar you should be in the real realm, jump and glide through the rectangular gap in the wall and land in an inclosed area next to a huge obelisk, push it over, it can only fall one way so don't worry about pushing it the wrong way, the fallen obelisk should now break open the path to Dumah's main room.
How to lead Dumah from his main room to the Boiler room:
From Dumah's main room lead him straight through the room with the
fallen obelisk and through the doorway on the other side. When you see
a block, a gate and a shaft of light lead him and turn right. Continue
across the fallen drawbridge to a room with a caged off interior room,
again lead him straight through and through the doorway on the other side,
then through the corridor to the Furnace room.
The Oracle's chaimber puzzles:
A dial, a couple of gates, a bunch of doors and blocks and one
hell of a headache:
Constrict the dial and a bunch of doors should open while others close.
Now take the passage that turns left before an iron gate, phase through,
side step back to the real realm at the portal.
First of all note the symbol just above the blocks in the wall. Now
grab and move the green 7 block
out and into the big pit in the middle, pull out the red Z
block
and push it into the green 7
block's
hole. Travel around through the fence, past the dial, through another fence.
Now grab the green 7
block
in the pit and lift and put it into the room you are in, put it in the
black Z hole, now go around to the first room, pull
the block out of the 7
into
the black O hole.
Two blocks, two holes and a gate:
First drag the two blocks in front of the two
holes and use you projectile to push them in.
A dead end with four pointers:
Constrict the four pointers so they all face the centre of the room.
(backtrack until the Oracle's cauldron is on your left)
The Oracle's cauldron:
Constrict it, it doesn't matter which way.
Two levers, a clock and a statue of Moebius:
Pull the levers and make the clock say 6 o'clock.
At the bottom of the clock:
Constrict the blocks that are in the way of the beam of light so the
light is passing thought the colored edges.
A three handed clock in the floor and three dials:
Look around and you should see three symbols with colored backgrounds
on the walls. Constrict the dials to make the proper
colored hands face their proper symbol.
Two big cogs:
Their are three blocks in a line stopping the cogs from moving, pull
them out so the cogs move. That should start a platform moving and raise
another platform. From the nearest cog jump to the raised platform, to
a ledge and onto the moving platform.
The downwardly spiralling corridor:
Keep your eye on the right part of this corridor, occasionally you
will encounter a fence/gate with a block on the other side.
use your projectile to push the blocks off and onto the floor of the
central room.
Three constrictable dials:
Take note of three pictures on a wall and constrict the dials to complete
these three pictures, once done they should set big swinging platforms
in motion, jump on these platforms, onto a ledge and pull the switches.
