We celebrated 2006 Diwali in Alumni Village with about 15 friends' families.  We organized the hall with tables and chairs with some space for a drama reharsal. All the families brought lots of snack & food (sweets,  savories, entre'es, and soft-drinks) . We first served some snacks.

Then our group performed a Tamil comedy drama titled "Punishing the Fraud" ('Poolikku Dhandanai').  All the participants performed well despite the fact it was a rehearsal.

Then we all went out;  Bhanu and I distributed fireworks to our young participants (see picture above) and everyone enjoyed the fireworks.

We then started with our main meal and followed it by ice-cream.  In total everyone had a good time. We were back home by 9:30 PM.
