When & where were you happiest? |
I'm happiest with lots of little things. I'm sure there are Moments
that would qualify but most of the time just feeling alive is enough for me. It doesn't matter what I'm doing (with friends, alone, outside, etc), but I just take in everything around me and absorb every detail. I have five sense and dammit I'm gonna use them. I don't know why I do this, it's not like I'm going to be archiving this information in a diary. |
What's something you would never do? |
I have this feeling that as soon as I write it down it will ensure that
I will do this thing I would "never" do. The word "never" is funny like that. I think (or I hope) that I would never betray someone. I think it's the worst thing you can do. |
What would you like to be reincarnated as? |
Hmmm, I think a bird of some kind. Particularly one that glides and
coasts
most of the time, like a hawk or an eagle. That looks like so much
fun,
just riding on the air currents.
|
What's your idea of utter misery? |
Watching Roswell. Heh, kidding. Utter misery is being completely
isolated
by my own existance. I've been there, it's not fun. But I'm back now
and I
hope I'll never be there again. |
What is your most treasured possession? |
My rocks which
are
the result of a favorite tradition.
|
Your greatest regret? |
Taking things for granted. You never think that a day will be your
last day
with someone until they're gone. It's the one thing you can't make
change
or resolve 'cause there really is no second chance. |
Your greatest fear? |
Are we talking phobia? Then it's a fear of falling. I have a
recurring
dream where I'm free falling (with Tom Petty, ahem, no, not really) and
right before I hit the ground I wake up. One time I fell out of bed
when I
woke up. |
Living person you most despise? |
Hate is such a bad thing, all it does is eat you up inside. There were
times in my life that a particular person would have qualified as the
Most
Despised, but I've gotten over those. I'll probably despise a few more
people in my lifetime and then I'll get over those as well. 'Course
there's
those evil people in the world that I'm not too fond of, but I don't
have
any personal reason to despise them. |
Living person you most admire? |
My mom. It's a predictable answer but it's true. I think she's an
amazing
person and I really hope that I can be as great a person as she is.
Awwww. |
Your greatest achievement? |
Not falling down. Sure it seems insignificant now but how grateful are
you
at the time that you didn't trip or fall down during something
important?
It's a nice way to top off any event. |
Your worst failure? |
Ah, considering my previous answer I'll go with, falling down. You can
read
as many deeper meanings into that as you like.
|
How would you like to die? |
Without pain or fear. I think that's really the best you can hope for
with
all the bad stuff out there (natural causes and otherwise). Homicide:
Life
on the Street is one of my favorite tv shows, I think I have a more cynical
view
of death now because of it. |
What's always in your refrigerator? |
Um, I think an old mustard jar has been in there since we got the
fridge, so
it's always there. But some items that are always there because
someone
actually consumes them are: milk (except when it's not, which is
always at
the most inconvenient time), orange juice, other juices, water (I like
it
cold), leftovers, cheese, eggs, yogurt, various tofu/soy fake-meat
items
(the pepperoni, canadian bacon and burgers are good!), tons of sauces
and
marinades, and um, other things. |
If you had a superpower, what would it be? |
Oh, this one's easy, some form of teleportation. I would love to be
able to
be anywhere anytime I wanted to. Just blink my eyes or think of the
destination and boom I'm there. My friends and family are no longer
geographically close and this would a great way to get together. This
power
would be sort of a cross between Charmed's Astral Prue-jection (tm owen
of
MBTV) and the Star Trek thingy. |
Make up a title for a country song that would sum up your life. |
??? I got nothing. My uncle is a country fan. When he lived with us
for a
few years I was subjected to way more country music than I think any
one
person should be.
|
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? |
Well, at my more insecure moments it would be something superficial,
some
physical attribute that for whatever reason makes me feel like a freak
of
nature. Also, the cloven hooves really make it difficult to type (see,
'cause my handle is goatlamb/goatie, geddit?). In general, I think I'd
like
to trust myself more. I tend to doubt myself sometimes and that's just
counter productive.
|
What is something about you that people would be surprised to know? |
I can be funny dammit! lol Ok, so friends and family and you guys
(which I
think would fall under the "friends" category, but whatever) know that,
but
lots of people have this idea of who I am and apparently "funny" just
isn't
a part of that. They eventually see the light though. |
What's your pet peeve? |
Computer technical difficulties. Drives me nuts. |
What's the most embarassing CD in your collection? |
When I was 11-13, I went through a Mariah Carey phase. I haven't
listened
to any of the ::gulp:: three albums I own since then but I haven't
gotten
rid of them either.
|
When was the last time you cried? |
I'm not really a cryer. I try to stop myself from crying and rarely
cry in
front of other people. I've occasionally gotten teary over a tv show,
movie
or a book. But the last time I really cried -- like full-on, no
holding
back,
I-may-have-just-inhaled-a-tissue cried -- was a couple years ago.
|
What's your hidden talent? |
I can do the American sign language alphabet with both hands
(simultaneously
and quickly). That's more of a Letterman-esque Stupid Human Trick
though. I
picked that up when I played PAL softball (a teammate of mine was
deaf).
I've since lost all other sign language knowledge (except for stuff
that was
used in Mr. Holland's Opus). |
What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything? |
42. [from a favorite book of mine, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Universe]
