26th Toronto International Film Festival (2001)

The 26th Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 7th to 15th, 2001.

Below are links to my reviews, schedule and general thoughts on the festival and the films I will be seeing. Expect brief comments for most films with some longer reviews to be posted when I have time.

For the time being I am using the same rating system I employed last year:

Just Plain Awful -- What was I thinking choosing this crap! Couldn't flee the screening fast enough!
Barely Tolerable -- Contemplated walking out but curiosity kept me there against my better judgement.
Enjoyable but Disappointing -- I enjoyed elements of the movie, but was disappointed with some aspects.
Intriguing and challenging -- I really liked this movie even if I didn't understand it all.
Fantastic! -- Wow, a film that left me wanting more. Definitely one that I will be talking about for sometime.
