never seen blue
some boy you are
to take me by the hand
through an elevator
got a little red light that tells you, boy
where the razor's been
you said "girl if you think,
you can turn that violator,
you'll finally be that woman, yes
finally be that woman
that's been frozen in that pretty silver girl"
yes
and I've never seen blue
like the blues he drives
in and around and through me again
I said I've never seen eyes
like the blues he drives
in and around and through me again
through me again, through me again
hey
some boy you are
to wear my color red
to wear it very proudly
wear it like a lady
knows how to cross her legs
where...
I've never seen blue
like the blues he drives
in and around and through me again
said I've never seen eyes
like the blues he drives
in and around and through me again
through me again, through me
yes

Tori Amos
The character is in love and she is amazed by it. She is amazed that he accept her, takes her hand...She has some bad things in her past (I think the "razor" line is an reference to Tori's "Blood Roses")...Perhaps she wants to take any new relationship slowly ("Gotta a little red light...").
The character's lover is showing her how to be more of herself (an important thing in relationships)...Perhaps he is saying, "YOU can heal, you can change yourself."
And, she is in love with him. His eyes are beautiful...they see through her.
In the next verse ("Some boy you are / To wear my color red..."), she is saying he is special to stick with her...maybe she has a problem or a bad reputation, but he is still proud to be associated with her. "...My color red" makes me think of Hawthorne's Scarlet Letter, but...probably not what Tori was thinking.
