DEXEDRINE SPIN

Good afternoon gentlemen, this meeting is adjourned

it’s always a pleasure doing business with you

until our next transaction, I bid you all a sweet adieu

I’m in a hurry to catch a flight

got a client on the coast who plays no favorites

   his friends are numbered …

   Packed my case of beer

   carton of cigarettes

and a stacked deck of cards

cause I’ll be playing solitaire with the devil tonight

So send a message to the captain

   to the admiral

   to the fleet

   this man has mutined

   and he refuses to eat

cause there’s acid in the water

   mescaline in the air

don’t know how I’ll ever make it

and at this point really don’t care

cause I’ve got one little - two little -

   three little black ones …

up and down on the dexedrine spin

So come on all you sailors

   lend a great big hand

there are bridges burning across the water

   confusion on the land

personal anarchy’s on our very doorstep

so let the flag fly ‘high’

And the lessons of the past

from the first to the last

   have been forgotten

in the rush to do business with the man

wearing a number on his forehead

and the candy in his hand

So send a message to the captain

   to the admiral

   to the fleet

   the men have all mutined

   and they refuse to eat

cause the ocean has been supercharged

   waves have all caught fire

there’s a storm raging like we’ve never seen

our only chance is to make it

to the eye of the hurricane

cause we’ve got four little - five little -

   six little white ones …

up and down on the dexedrine spin
