        *He discovered the peppers when they were playing the Variety Arts Center , downtown L.A. at the age of 15. "From that point their music meant everything to me".  
        * Left home at the age of 16 and found an appartment.  
        * In 1988, around Christmas, the peppers debuted John as a replacement of McKnight´s.  
        * He played up to 15 hours a day along with Zappa and Hendrix records.  
        * At nine he had romantic dreams about bisexuality, "The point is, I´m weird, but I never felt weird."  
        * When he jammed with the peppers he had never played with another band.  
         * The band known as Thelonious Monster was looking for a guitarist at  the same time the Peppers introduced them to John. John was one of Thelonious Monsters first choices, but John didn't like the idea. T  Monster recruited him 5 minutes to late, as Anthony signed Frusciante,to become a Pepper.  
        *"John was an absolute Hillel clone" , remembers Alain Johannes, "Not  only did he play like him, he stood like him and moved like him as well".  
        * Two girls once asked him for an autograph and he wrote: "I want to destroy your hymens"  
        *  7 May 1992, in the middle of the Blood sugar sex magik tour, John announced his decision to his fellows that he was going to leave the band.  
        *he's first solo album was called "Niandra Lades,and  usually just a T-shirt" it was released on 1995  
        *"Smile from the streets you hold" is the title of his recent release  it was released on was released August 28th,1997.
