Chapter 6
Frusciante , Smith & Mothers Milk
Mothers Milk is the name of the album dedicated to Hillel Slovak ,it also was the last album produced by Beinhorn
Chad Smith joined the band at the beginning of 1989 he hadn't got a big trajectory but the band could handle it very well (he's still in the band) When they met Chad the only thing that they knew about him was that "he was eating drums for breakfast" so they decided to give him a try, Kiedis and Flea were so impressioned that he joined the band.
Well talking about the album Mothers Milk sounds cleaner than the Uplift mofo party plan, it was the first successful album of the band (they sold over a million albums) The hit was "Higher ground" a cover of an Stevie Wonder song.
The album included songs like Fire (a cover of an Jimi Hendrix song) ,Subway to venus,Magic Johnson,Taste the pain, etc.
They also made 3 videos Taste the Pain ,Higher Ground and Knock me Down.
