Well, most of you have probably heard of Illusion of Gaia, Some maybe even Soul Blazer, but I'll bet the majority of you all are saying "What the @#$% is Terranigma?!"
Well, I'm here to explain that to you. Terranigma is a game that was never released in America, for the super nintendo entertainment system (called super famicon in Japan.) It was fully translated, and put into a cartridge, but Enix only released it in the United Kindgdom, but never in the United States. The only way you could play the game wihtout a lot of hassle is by using a rom/emulator, which isn't illegal in this case because Nintendo never released it in the United States (I think, this might not be true, so don't rely on it ^^;) In it, you play the role of Ark, a young boy from the town of Crysta.
Ark, in the beginning, has caused some mischief, and has to apologize. However, when he gets back to his house, the Elder is away. This causes his roommates to become curious about an intiguing blue door.
Ark winds up opening the door, and once all the way down, opens 'Pandora's Box'
As many of us know, Pandora's Box is a fabled box of legend and horror. What comes out of this box? Why, nothing but Ark's new travel companion, Yomi!
After opening this box, all the townspeople in Cyrsta are frozen, except the Elder. The Elder tells Ark that he must go out into the world outside Crysta and go to the 5 towers to restore the people. What seems like such a simple plot, evolves into something really spectacular. ^_^ You will Love the story !!
This game has its share of secrets, some more intiguing then others.
