PERSONALITY & COMPETENCE

A big part of my formal education was designed to develop my left brain. But, this was balanced with mind-mapping during studies and creative activities like playing synthesizers and composing music for leisure.

I scored 131 (out of 150) from Self Discovery Workshop's IQ test.

My personality test at Jobstreet.com provided the following results: dynamic, goal-oriented, organised, optimistic, creative, resourceful, a team player and often see the whole picture and seek practical solutions.

Technology offers the ability to model and predict outcome within reasonable error. My BEng final-year project involved acoustic modelling using a software called ODEON. I extended the technique to allow clients to "hear" how concert halls would sound, even before building them. I hope to extend computer models to other area of interests namely customer relationship management, knowledge management, game theory and business strategy.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Actively involved in church and community work, I serve and worship at SIB (Sidang Injil Borneo) KL, a contemporary and progressive church. I was also part of Youth Alive Malaysia's creative and technology workgroup.

Founding committee member of UK's Instituition of Electrical Engineer (IEE) Young Members Section (YMS) in Malaysia on 16 October 2003.

Founding committee member of USA's Audio Engineering Society (AES) Section in Malaysia on 9 February 2001.

Treasurer of the Chinese Students' Society at the University of Salford, UK in 1993.

Represented school in volleyball and swimming competitions at state-level.
