Natural Ways to Ease the Side Effects of Psychiatric Medication

Anxiety

1. Foods high in B complex promote relaxation, including celery, sesame seeds, oats, cucumber, grapes, corn, cherries and apples.
2. Exercise 30 minutes daily. Walking is great.
3. Meditate at least 15 minutes daily.
4. Use visual imagery and relaxation exercises 15 minutes daily.
5. Square Breathing
Breathe in for 4 seconds.
Hold your breath for 4 seconds.
Breathe out for 4 seconds.
Hold your breath for 4 seconds.
Do this 4 times.
