A Service of the Soup Can League
Take note: This information has been gathered by patients, for patients. It is not medical advice. You should ask your doctor if you have any questions or if your side effects are too severe or last too long. That's what your doctor's there for. This is just common sense on dealing with some of the more short term side effects.

Blurred Vision
You really have to wait this one out, but there are things you can do to help with the strain it puts on your eyes.

1. After working your eyes for 20 minutes, close them, with a gentle touch of your palms, for 2 minutes.

2. Eyebright (an herb available at most health stores)
Boil water
Add eyebright and let boil for a few minutes.
Strain out water and let it cool.
Discard herb.
Dampen a cloth with the eyebright water and rest it on your eyes for 5 minutes.

3. Soak 2 cotton balls in cold milk and rest them on your eyes for 5 minutes.

4. Tea bags are a classic. Make sure you let them cool a little before you put them on your eyes.
