Our aim is to network with as many South African writers as possible and to provide information pertinent to the South African market.
We have found that although there is information out there, it is not that easy to find it - you must either have the skills of a super-sleuth or you need to empty your pockets to get hold of it. We are aiming to provide free tools to equip all South African writers to network with one another and to share resources. Most of our staff (editors, columnists and website administrator) have full-time non-writing jobs. We have one thing in common and that is our passion for writing - we want to share any knowledge that we've acquired collectively over the years with other writers. We all dream of the day when we will be able to call ourselves full-time writers - perhaps this is your dream as well, or maybe you've always fancied yourself to be a writer but were previously too afraid to share your stories or poetry with others. Why not stop at our website for a while and have a good look around. You might even consider joining our email group at Smartgroups, but be warned, activity on the group is carried out in an informal atmosphere - the only restriction on the list is that flaming will not be tolerated.
