Give Fast and Prosper
Janeway's jaw dropped. "You worship who?"
"He has many names," replied the ambassador. "Trickster, joker,
questioner... but most usually, simply Q."
"What form does your worship take?" asked Chakotay, his face straight
but his eyes grinning broadly.
"We give him anything he wants just to leave us alone. He is an
unpredictable, playful, dangerous god."
"Sounds like the Q we know," said Janeway.
"Indeed," remarked Tuvok. "He is the second most capricious sentient
being I have ever encountered."
Correctly interpreting the look that passed between them, the
ambassador nervously activated his communicator.
"Mr. President, give Captain Janeway anything she wants."
