Moving On
B'Elanna stood straight before the Commodore's desk, and waited for
the inevitable.
"Cadet Torres, I am concerned by yesterday's incident - the latest
in a long line of such incidents. You seem unable to find a
suitable outlet for your aggression."
The frustration and rage finally boiled over. "I know," she said.
"'Perhaps Miss Torres would be best advised to pursue her future
elsewhere.'" Two junior schools, then three high schools, now this.
"If that's the way you feel, Cadet," said the Commodore, surprised,
"Perhaps you should take some leave."
"Leave. Right." She wasn't fooled. It was just another rejection.
"Goodbye."
