"Good afternoon, Ensign Kim."

"Commander."

"During the past year, have you struck, or threatened to strike, a 
superior officer?"

Harry grinned. "Not unless you count Tom Paris."

Chakotay frowned. "I'm afraid I have to, Mr. Kim."

"But, Commander, there were extenuating circumstances! The clamp was 
affecting my judgement. And anyway..."

Chakotay's face remained impassive. "Anyway?"

"Sir, I stopped myself. I could have smashed his skull with a single
blow, but I didn't."

Chakotay looked down. He shook his head. "No, you didn't, did you?"

Harry stood up. "I know, better luck next year."

"Better luck next year, *Ensign*," corrected Chakotay.
