    embrace of eternity

Through the dark forest,
And over the brook,
I wandered around,
And for a mere look.

A maiden clothed in black was she,
As beautiful as she could be,
Long black hair, and flowing dress,
A look, she was my last caress.

She stands before me,
Her eyes are brown,
Her hands on my face,
The travelling down.
Her touch is soft,
But cold as ice,
And her sensuous body,
With it, she enticed.

My hands were on her,
Feeling her, Touching her,
Her hands exploring,
Knowing me, Searching me,
Finding me, Killing me.

I crouch before her,
And see the bloodied dagger,
She stabs herself,
And hence does stagger.

She lay a kiss upon my lips,
She says 'I love you',
A tear trickles from her eye,
She says, 'We shall both die.'

She's in my arms,
We are embraced,
A dead couple,
Tis but a waste.
Though if you find us, you will see,
We are together, for eternity.
