I've fallen half in love with easeful death
And call upon many amused rhyme
Whispered soft words in his name
And prayed we wont run out of time...
I've been swallowed in your words of empathy
And surrounded by only the lies
You've trapped me in your semi-divine world
And imprisoned me forever in your cries...
I've isolated myself from the others
And call upon their names I've seen the evil in their eyes
so I've ceased in playing their games...
I've tried to listen with silent thoughts
And with seeing the heads all bowed in shame
I've tried to forget all the nightmares
Filled with sober nights and bleeding pain...
So much pain and so little time
And so many words unspoken
Bleeding hearts and blackened souls
And promises all broken...
So i'll call upon the angel's breath
And pray she won't leave me behind
But still i hope, and search, and pray
That someday love will be there to find...
