feel them around you.
sitting with you when you cry,
waiting with you for a bus,
laughing with you when you're happy,
laying beside you as you sleep.

reach out and touch their cool being.
smell their sweet smell.
taste their way of life.
listen to the soft lullaby they sing.
see yourself through their eyes.

to them you are beautiful.
a graceful yet foreign creature
in a world so unfamiliar.
to them you are a vulnerable child
in search of comfort and love.

they are the angels
so pure, so true.
every human soul has one -
one belonging to you.
everyone has a guardian angel.

If people are to feel sorry for a death
It should be because they did not
Fully know the dead -
That they did not take the time
To listen and to understand,
And did not look deep inside
To realise their reason for living.
They should not feel sorry
That a life has ended,
For there must be an end
To begin again.

warm light
pulls me closer
like the beach, pulls
ocean waves onto it's shore

warm light
invites me in
like the open arms of
a nurturing mother

warm light
blends into my world
like sunshine into
a summers day

warm light
from a flickering candle.
warm light is
you

drip.
waited so long.
drip.
from this pain comes love.
drip.
draining away, slowly.
drip.
rippling water below.
drip.
my reflection?
drip.
an expressionless unfeeling face.
drip.
inside nothing but black space.
drip.
blood red tears spilling from my wrist.
drip.
i'm wasting away...
