That first weekend after Jerry had moved here was the day we went to the Chowan County Fair, and we had two other CL's from Pentagon here for the weekend as well. | |
Fran brought her two young daughters, Stephanie who was 5 at the time, and Carol who was 10, and we all had a great time getting to know each other better and riding the carnival rides. *S* | |
This was the first year in twelve years, that my children were too busy to come to the fair as well, but having Carol and Stephanie there was really great because children & fairs are meant to be together too. | |
The whole weekend went by way too fast, and before we knew it, it was time to say fairwell to our guest. A few months before this I had met them all at the hospital in Virginia when my youngest daughter had jaw surgery. | |
